177   Album plate.

178   Beached stern wheeler. Location and name of vessel are unknown. Looking closely at the photo shows a couple standing on the after end. The lifeboat davits are empty. There is driftwood and shells in the mud. There is a chain between the hull and shore.  In areas where the rivers froze vessels were hauled up on the beach to protect them from the ice.
